A story of constant evolution in trading foods

Founder Makis Desyllas self-made began his professional activity in 1967 with AVRA 1 in West Africa, a reefer trawler. The overseas fishery period lasted until the early 1980s, where it began to import frozen fishes and meat with great success.

In 2001 he founded the company MAKIS DESYLLAS & CO LTD, a purely family business, which continues to this day its commercial activity.

With his death in 2016, Kiki Desylla, who has been working with her father since 1986, immediately after studying at the University of Athens, took over the baton of the company.

In recent years, the company focuses on primary production and exports, trying to address the need for the market for competitive but high-quality goods.
